DEVO's delightfully quirky 'Girl U Want'.
(Even MOAR new vids there on teh YouTube channel: independentmusician1!)

FOR SALE!: I am willing to let go of that styrofoam cat-bowl hat that I wore in the 'Girl U Want' video. It still has the now hardend chewing gum stuck on the inside (used to keep it on my head during the shoot.) I will include a signed certificate of authenticity. Bidding starts at $20. Welcome to our website! Ross and I are brothers who grew up together in the small town of Jellico, Tennessee where back in the late 70's and early 80's as young teens we began playing rock & roll music with our friends from school. Over the years, both of us have been in several bands of various popular music styles. We have used the moniker 'Electric Gypsy' off and on again since as early as 1985 with differing lead vocalists, guitarists, and drummers on-board at different times. However, due to life-changes and various circumstances, none of these line-ups ever remained intact more than a year or two.

Eventually, Ross and I decided to stop trying to nail down anything permanent involving anyone beyond the just the two of us. We have great relations with literally dozens of amazingly talented musicians, but they simply live too far away and/or have other commitments. They are willing and able to play with us on occasion, just not often enough to remain 'full-time' members of our band. Therefore, we hence alter the 'official' name of our act to 'Electric Gypsy & Friends of Avail' as of 2011.
